Welcome |
I am young - 19 to be exact. I have not been an Air Force wife long, so I am not claiming to be an expert by any means. You may find that the information I've provided on my site does/did not apply to you or was different in your experiences, and in such a case please make it a point to let me know via e-mail or a comment!
I became an Air Force wife on August 28, 2011 when myhusband left for basic training held at Lackland AFB, TX. The journey has been one of many unknowns: I can’t begin to add up the hours I’ve spent searching for information, encouragement, or a simple source of networking on the internet to end up frustrated and discouraged.
Through the many events of your Airman’s journey, countless questions and uncertainties will accompany the joys and excitement. My reason for creating this blog is to offer whatever information I can to you all, as well as encouragement; a crash course for new AF wives, if you will. I am also wanting to document this journey, as it is sure to be such an adventure, so I can look back and say Wow! Look at how far we have come!
Visit me regularly and please do not hesitate tocomment/e-mail me if there are any questions I can help you with!
Welcome to you and thank YOU for your service to our beautiful Country!
