YOU OWE IT TO YOUR COUNTRY! |
I absolutely refuse to get too deep into controversial political issues here at The Air Force Wife, although I am a very opinionated person. I really do not want to offend anyone and in order to avoid doing so, I am going to keep my mouth shut all together (unless asked, of course).
I do, however, want to take a minute to inquire as to how many of you are registered to vote in the upcoming election. For those of you who, like me, wait until the last minute to register or flat out have no flipping idea how to register, I want to share a great website with you. Gotta Register makes voter registration quick and easy - just fill in your information, print it out, sign, fold, tape, slap a stamp on, and git 'er in the mail. A lot easier than having to make a trip to your county courthouse or trying to figure things out over the phone.
As the title says, you owe it to your country to vote. I know how daunting voter registration can seem, especially as being a young military spouse who has just moved to a brand new area. Gotta Register makes it a breeze - no need to even leave your house (except for a quick mailbox run, that is). Make sure that your voice is heard this November. Every vote does count - your opinion does matter.
