Mini Pops Giveaway To Support Fisher House Foundation |
You know when you see companies advertising that they are going to give 'x' amount of dollars to a wonderful cause...if and only if you buy one of their products? And the donation is typically a fraction of a cent or some measly, stingy, ridiculous amount that really boils down to not even being worth the hassle. Well I'm not going to waste your time (or mine) by trying to recruit you all to participate in one of those causes. Instead, I want to invite you all to participate in a giveaway. A giveaway that is completely, 100% free to enter and will result in a $0.10 donation to the Fisher House Foundation.
Let's start at the beginning. Mini Pops, Inc. is a manufacturer of air-popped sorghum grain. Mini Pops emphasizes the importance of family, friends, health, and the community. Though Mini Pops is still a new business, they want to give back in any way that they can. No strings attached.
Fisher House Foundation, to keep it short and sweet, provides free or low cost lodging to veterans and military families receiving treatment at military medical centers. Fisher House Foundation wants to ensure that families of service men and women wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan are not burdened with unnecessary expense during a time of crisis. In addition to offering lodging, FHF also manages a grant program that supports other military charities and scholarship funds for military children, spouses and children of fallen and disabled veterans - it's all around a terrific (that is an understatement) foundation.
