Furniture Finally! |
The showroom floor is set up as actual room arrangements - I'm talking a couch, coordinating end table and coffee table, chair, area rug, TV stand, and lamp, all conveniently priced as a package rather than individually. So, instead of buying a couch like we originally set out to do, we purchased furnishings for our entire living room. What was the most amazing to me was that these room packages are put together by designers so that everything works and looks aesthetically appealing, yet you are still presented with the option of being able to change out your end tables, coffee tables, rugs, and TV stands if you liked another style more than the one in the package. Stumbling upon this store at this exact time was a true blessing - it saved us tons of time (and money) and I ended up falling in love with the furniture we chose.
Apparently Rooms To Go is a chain and has started out down here in the south, but is slowly working its way north and spreading out. For all of you first time movers out there who find yourself needing rooms of furniture and not just a few items, do check out this store - you won't be disappointed!
Now for the goods...check out our new living room!
Before
After
Hubby was lounging on the couch (what he does best on his days off ;-P) so I will get a better picture of it later. It's an amazingly comfy (and still stylish) sectional. I love it!
I absolutely loved this crackle glass - these tables were "subbed" for the ones that originally came with this set.
Ahhh, I love getting new things. And I love knowing that my tail bone and back won't ache in the morning from sitting on the floor. It's the simple things :)
